Native of Charleston, SC. Dr. Chavone Johnson received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology Pre Medicine with a minor in Chemistry from South Carolina State University. Soon after she went to Physical Therapy school at The University of St. Augustine and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree. She has been practicing Physical therapy for 10 years in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedic, family medicine, and home health. She has advanced training in manual therapy centered around Stanley Paris manual therapy techniques, she is a certified Selective Functional Movement Therapist (SFMA) along with advanced training with dry needling. Dr. Chavone Johnson enjoys reading, spending time with her family and traveling.

Melissa has been a Registered Dietitian, practicing sports nutrition since 2002. She also has a PhD in Exercise Physiology. Melissa's interest in nutrition and physical activity escalated as her desire to be a competitive marathoner grew. She has qualified and ran in the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials. Melissa's dedication and passion have led her to a successful athletic and professional career. Melissa has a desire to help others learn what drives them and help them determine how to perform better and live a health and well balanced life. She works with recreational and elite athletes, as well a non-athletes looking for a good quality of life.

Lisa Massie is originally from Clarksville, Maryland. She started working in 2000 at a local outpatient PT clinic as a rehabilitation tech and never looked back! Lisa graduated from Marietta College in Ohio with a degree in Athletic Training. She completed her Masters in Sports Studies from High Point University in North Carolina and worked with many different types of college athletes. Lisa worked at an outpatient PT clinic with athletes who were recovering from injuries, and also worked for a local 6-18 year old youth soccer league as their primary ATC.
Lisa went to PT school at Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina. While in school she became pregnant with her first child and instantly became interested in Women's Health PT. She graduated with a MPT in 2011, then worked for a hospital system in Reidsville, NC for 3 years prior to moving to the area. She has treated across many difference fields which involved orthopedic, sports medicine, post operative, neurological, women's health, wound care, and populations ranging from pediatric through geriatric.
In February 2015 Lisa moved up to Northern Virginia and worked for a chain PT clinic until meeting Dr. Chavone Johnson. She took some time off to start and almost finish her DPT (will be finished in April 2017!).
Her main interests and focus in sports medicine, orthopedic, women's health PT especially with the focus on postpartum and prenatal care and education.
I am still an active certified athletic trainer (ATC) and I am a certified myofacial trigger point therapist (CMTPT)
I have two kiddos: 4 and 6. They keep me busy running around. When I have some down time I enjoy being a crafty mom, exercising (mostly lifting and walking), drinking a nice glass of a lovely Pinot Noir (but really any red is great), going to the beach and traveling wherever our busy lives allow!
Cynthia Bialek has been in the Fitness Industry for over 30 years. She is a certified Personal Trainer and an E-RYT500 Yoga Teacher and Teacher Trainer. Cynthia has certified many Yoga Instructors in the D.C metro area through her YAVAYOGA Teacher Training Program approved and recognized by the international Yoga Alliance organization. She has presented her trademarked program, Yoga Afloat, at International Fitness Conferences and teaches water exercise for several area Health Clubs. She is highly experienced in personal training seniors and those recovering from injuries and surgery. Her T.V. Show, " Yoga with Cynthia" has aired for over 20 years in Reston ( Channel 28) and in Fairfax ( Channel 10 ).
